Joining
Joining?
- Any canine of any species is welcome to join Anathema; we do not restrict membership based upon species.
- All canines who join will be placed at the Zepar rank. To move up into a rank tier, the new member must post 20 ic posts. Then just PM James (Naniko D'Angelo) :)
- We take canines with all sorts of histories. We are a pack made of misfits, canines not welcomed in other places for one reason or another.
- Canines wishing to join Anathema are advised not to trespass until invited across the border by a pack member. Anathema's canines can be quite territorial, and it is disrespectful for strangers to cross uninvited into pack territory.
- If your character is not blood-related to another Anathema member, they will need to go through the blood-sharing ritual known as Agares. A small cut will be made on the hand or paw of your character and one on the hand of the leader, binding them together by blood and welcoming them into the family.
- Canines who were once accepted to Anathema but left the pack do not need go through the right of Agares again. They are considered part of the Anathema family and will be accepted back to the pack's midst regardless. Please note, you still must have a joining thread, read OOC joining below for more info.
OOC Joining?
Anathema does not accept OOC joiners. All potential joiners must make an ic thread following one of the 3 methods which fits your characters situation stated below. Joiners can use three different methods.
- If the character is new to the pack, make an IC thread in which they approach the border and seek acceptance from the leader.
- If they are an NPC, start a regular thread with another pack member and put "j" in the title of it so that we know you are joining the pack with that character.
- If you are a family member who is returning to the pack, simply post a short "return" thread in which your character comes back to the pack. This can be read-only or repliable."
