Anathema, was founded -- December, 2010, by Naniko D'Angelo. On the coastal parts of Halcyon Mountain in winter of 2010, Naniko D'Angelo returned from a long absence, having spent her time in the interim studying with a cult located in New Brunswick. Upon a disastrous end there, Naniko, her sister Selene, and Azalea, another female from the cult, departed, heading to 'Souls.
Anathema was founded for canines with darker pasts -- exiled canines, outcasts, misfits, and anyone else is accepted within the pack ranks. Relations within Anathema are extremely strong -- canines accepted to the pack's midst are considered members for life and part of the pack family. Many members of Anathema are deeply superstitious and spiritual. Witchcraft and voodoo are common practices within the pack; see Culture for more information regarding Anathema's beliefs. Many canines practice various rituals and celebrate holidays -- spirituality is accepted within the pack, especially Khalifism as well as Voodoo.
